Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Korean Tips. By using the app you agree to them.
The service
A Korean-learning app for TOPIK I and II. Every lesson, Hangul and Review are free. The Android app shows ads; the full version, a one-time purchase, removes them. We may add, revise or reorganize lessons as the course grows.
The full version
- One payment of US$9.99 removes the ads, for as long as the app runs. In the Android app, Google Play shows the price in your currency. Nothing renews.
- Buying requires signing in, so the full version follows you to every device where you sign in. One bought in the Android app is also subject to Google Play's terms.
- In the EU, the EEA and the UK, the web checkout asks you to agree that the full version unlocks at once, and you then lose the 14-day right to cancel; your receipt confirms it. The 7-day refund below still applies.
Refunds
- In the app, under Me, you can refund the full version within 7 days of buying it, once per account. It ends at once, and the money goes back to the original payment method (for a Google Play purchase, through Google Play).
- Beyond that, we refund a payment charged twice, or a purchase a fault on our side kept from working: write to support@latticelogic.app with the payment date.
- Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
Third-party data
The word lists are the National Institute of Korean Language's (KOGL Type 1), and the English references come from its Basic Korean Dictionary (CC BY-SA 2.0 KR). Neither is affiliated with this app.
Fair use
The app is licensed to you personally, for learning. Reselling access, scraping content, or interfering with the service is not permitted.
Content
Lessons and dialogues are ours or licensed to us. Your progress is yours.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore. Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class action.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date below reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
