About Korean Tips
Korean Tips is a Korean course for TOPIK I and TOPIK II, levels 1 to 6, in the browser at korean.tips/app. Each lesson is a scene: a conversation whose words are the lesson's cards, 872 lessons and 10,498 words in all. Each level is its own world, from the alley market at level 1 to the policy institute at level 6.
The words come from the National Institute of Korean Language's graded vocabulary list, levels 1 to 6. The Hangul tab teaches the 40 letters of the alphabet, a row of the syllable chart a lesson.
How a lesson runs
A lesson opens on its scene: a short conversation between the world's characters, read on the screen and heard line by line where the device has a Korean voice. The voice is the browser's own text-to-speech, or in the Android app the phone's. Then come the scene's words: match them, pick their meaning, fill a gap in the word's own sentence, put a sentence's words in order, and answer three questions on the scene.
Every word met goes to Review, where it comes back after 1, 3, 7, 16 and 40 days. A miss brings a card back sooner. The Me tab shows your rank, the characters met so far to wear, the cards met, the reviews due today and the lessons done in each level.

Free, and the full version
Every lesson, Hangul and Review are free, with no sign-in. The Android app shows an ad after a step, at most three a day. The full version, US$9.99 paid once, removes the ads and adds nothing else.
Progress stays on the device. Signing in, with Google or a link sent to your email, is optional and carries progress to another device; buying the full version needs it, so the purchase follows the account.
